Berghof Speedwave Xpert for Microwave Digestions
This high-performance microwave system is suitable for complex digestions of challenging samples at high temperatures and pressures. Its sophisticated design combines high-quality materials with innovative sensor technology to ensure maximum safety for the operator.
- Microwave with 2000 W power
- Digestion vessels made of durable, isostatically molded TFMTM PTFE, available in volumes of 40 ml (DAP-40X), 60 ml (DAP-60X), or 100 ml (DAP-100X and DAK-100X), with a maximum pressure of 40 bar (DAP-40X, DAP-60X, DAP-100X) or 100 bar (DAK-100X)
- Carousel for simultaneous digestion of 24, 12, or 8 samples
- Optical pressure monitoring for individual pressure measurement in each digestion vessel, measuring range 0–150 bar, accuracy >5 bar
- Real-time optical measurement of sample temperature in each digestion vessel
- Contactless surface temperature measurement for each digestion vessel
- Top-loading system for increased operational safety

High-pressure digestion systems - digestion under pressure and for synthesis
Digestec
With the Digestec, a pressure digestion system, the digestion period can be extended as needed for the digestion of difficult-to-digest samples such as SiC or Al2O3. Additionally, small-scale chemical syntheses such as hydrothermal syntheses or material testing can also be performed.
- Pressure vessels made of high-alloy stainless steel 1.4571
- PTFE inserts
- Up to 260°C and 200 bar
- For volumes up to 400 ml
- Bayonet closure for quick sealing
- Suitable for:
- Production of zeolites, mesoporous silicates, or nanoparticles
- Material testing (aging tests)
- Hydrothermal synthesis
- Digestion of ceramics, oxides (Al2O3, zirconate), SiC, graphite
- Digestion of samples with a high sample weight (2 grams)
