Digital & Electron Microscopy
Experience the power of digital and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for top notch quality control, R&D, inspection, and material characterization. With techniques like ion milling and sputter coating, uncover the finest details.
Digital Microscopes
Digital microscopes offer superior image quality, easy operation, and advanced software tools for detailed analysis. They eliminate the need for traditional eyepieces, reduce eye strain, and improve ergonomics during prolonged inspections.
We work with Tagarno, a leading Danish manufacturer of digital microscopes, to provide advanced inspection solutions. These microscopes are widely used for quality control in the electronics, pharmaceutical, and food industries, where precision and reproducible analyses are crucial.
Plasma Sputter Coating
The unique A² technology from LUXOR generates plasma and applies it in a controlled and precise manner. This results in an ultra-uniform, thin, and homogeneous gold or platinum layer on your non-conductive material.
LUXOR coaters are known for their fast operation and ease of use and are available in two versions: the gold coater and the platinum coater. They ensure high-quality SEM images when working with challenging samples such as radiation-sensitive and non-conductive materials.
AFM-in-SEM
The unique AFM-in-SEM LiteScope is designed to combine the strengths of AFM and SEM techniques, resulting in an effective workflow and extending the possibilities of correlative microscopy and in-situ analysis, which were previously difficult or nearly impossible with conventional instruments.
Advantages of the AFM-in-SEM Solution
- Complex and Correlative Sample Analysis: Advanced CPEM technology allows simultaneous AFM and SEM data collection and seamless correlation.
- In-situ Sample Characterization: In-situ measurements in the SEM enable sample analysis at the same time, in the same place, and under the same conditions.
- Precise Localization of the Area of Interest: A highly precise and time-saving approach uses the SEM to navigate the AFM tip to the area of interest, ensuring quick and easy localization.
Hot Stage Microscopy
For microscopic analysis at extreme temperatures (-195°C to 1500°C), we offer a comprehensive range of heating and cooling stages from Linkam Scientific. These systems allow precise temperature control and can operate under controlled conditions such as atmosphere, humidity, pressure, or vacuum.
Our stages are compatible with microscopes from Olympus, Nikon, Zeiss, Leica, Euromex, and other leading brands, offering a wide range of mounting options.
Sample Preparation for Nanoscale Research
For high-quality sample preparation in life sciences and materials science, we provide advanced solutions from RMC Boeckeler. These systems ensure precise and reproducible sections, essential for detailed structural analyses, including 3D electron microscopy.
Our range includes:
- Microtomy and Ultramicrotomy – For ultra-thin and highly accurate sections
- Cryo-ultramicrotomy – For delicate samples at low temperatures
- Automated Cutting Stations – Efficient workflow solutions for consistent results
- Accessories and Consumables – For optimized sample preparation
These technologies are applied in materials research, biomedical research, pathology, and nanotechnology, where ultrastructural analyses are crucial.
