Who are we
Benelux Scientific provides equipment and technical support to industrial and academic laboratories in Belgium and Luxembourg. Since its foundation in 2001, Benelux Scientific distributes laboratory equipment from a specific number of reliable suppliers. In our product range we emphasize sample preparation, analytical instrumentation, microscopy and electron microscopy, and materials characterization.
Scientific Group
Benelux Scientific (Belgium) is part of the Scientific Group, a network of European distributors within the Aptco Group. The various companies operate in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Each company is fully independent and works with its own sales and service team. For the technical and application support of companies with branches in several countries, cross-border work is also carried out within the group, resulting in fast and local support in the customer’s language and habits.
The group has regional headquarters in Ede (NL), Nazareth (BE), Chassieu (FR), Langen (DE south), Berlin (DE north), Innsbruck (AU) and Kirchberg (CH).
Part of Aptco Group
Aptco Group is an international technology group specializing in the distribution, engineering, and manufacturing of laboratory instruments that support innovation in science and technology, while also offering technical services including installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration.
The companies within the group operate across three complementary domains:
- Distribution of high-quality scientific instruments, analytical and material characterization technologies (Benelux Scientific Netherlands, Benelux Scientific Belgium, BlueScientific, France Scientifique, Schaefer Scientific), measurement, control, and testing equipment for industrial and process environments (LHM Instrumentation, Prometeq), and equipment for metallographic sample preparation (Escil).
- Engineering, manufacturing, and global sale of porometers for characterization of filtration and separation media (Porometer), sputter coaters for SEM and TEM applications (LUXOR), and membrane laboratory equipment (MemSystems), as well as laboratory platen presses for material testing applications (Fontijne Presses) and consumables for materialographic sample preparation (Mikrona).
- Accredited calibration services for life science laboratories and industrial environments (Calibration Lab, Caliz, LHM Instrumentation).
