A new collaboration with Linkam: precision in hot stage microscopy

Benelux Scientific has partnered with Linkam Scientific, a specialist in temperature and environmental control stages. This collaboration enhances our microscopy solutions, providing researchers with advanced tools for studying material properties under precise conditions.

About Linkam

Linkam designs and manufactures control stages that allow for accurate temperature regulation from -195°C to 1500°C. These systems integrate with microscopes and techniques such as Raman, FTIR, and XRD, making them versatile for applications in pharmaceuticals, materials science, geology, and food science.

One of their standout products, the THMS600 heating stage, is trusted by more than 6,000 users globally.

Hot stage microscopy

Hot stage microscopy combines heating and cooling capabilities with optical imaging, enabling the study of phase transitions, crystallization, and chemical reactions in real-time. This technique is widely used in materials research, pharmaceutical studies, and cryobiology, offering insights into how materials behave under changing temperatures.

Linkam’s systems are compatible with leading microscope brands, including Olympus, Nikon, and Zeiss, ensuring seamless integration.

Expanding your research potential

With Linkam’s technology, researchers can precisely control environmental factors such as temperature, pressure, and humidity. These tools open possibilities for advanced studies in diverse scientific fields, from the thermal properties of materials to biological process analysis.
